Wednesday Freebies

If you don't mind sharing your email address with a company, there are some pretty good offers for free food and other goodies out there. Don't want to give out your personal email address for this,? Just sign up for an email account just for this purpose at any major ISP provider such as Google, Yahoo or AOL.

Bucca di Beppo, an Italian restaraunt chain with a location in the Northpoint area of Alpharetta, has a eClub you can sign up for. When you join, you get exclusive offers via email, a free birthday dessert and a treat on your anniversary.

Chick-fil-a restaraunts have long had a tradition of giving away free food, but there's a catch. If you are one of the first 100 customers in line at any of their store openings across the country, you'll receive a free Chick-fil-a meal once a week for a year. Lines, however, usually form more than 24 hours in advance of a store opening, so be prepared to wait. I have also heard reports of a "special" treat for anyone who waits in line with a cow costume on. They even have a future restaraunt openings link on their website to keep track of future openings. Alas, the closest opening to Atlanta through March is in Florida.

Chili's Bar & Grill also has an email club. When you join their you get a free chips and queso.

For ice cream lovers, Cold Stone Creamery, with multiple locations in metro Atlanta, has a birthday club. When you sign up for this you'll get free coupons, special offers and a coupon for a free ice cream cone on your birthday.

Dairy Queen has the Blizzard Fan Club. Members receive a buy one get one free Blizzard Treat coupon.

Orange Julius locations in area malls have the OJ Quench Club. Members get a special suprise every year of membership, special offers and contest information. On your birthday you get an email coupon for a free 20 ounce smoothie. Plus you also get a coupon for another free 20 ounce smoothie with purchase of another just for joining.

Like pizza? Papa John's offers ocassional free pizzas and breadsticks to those who sign up for their weekly e-newsletter.

Romano's Macaroni Grill has the Mac Pac. Members receive news, special offers and a birthday present.

Ruby Tuesday's club is called So Connected. Members get news of menu changes, e-mail alerst of happenings and a free birthday offer.

Members of Smokey Bones' Bones Club receive news of special events, special offers such as $1 beer nights, news of new menu items and a free gift for joining.

Finally, this isn't exactly a free offer, but it can still make you feel good. At participating Starbucks you can purchase a RED card. Part of the worldwide (PRODUCT)RED iniative, Starbuck will donate 5 cents to the Global fund to save lives in Africa every time you use the card.
