Friday Freebies

Free pizza (almost). While I generally don't like to give out personal infomation to any site, if you don't mind doing so you can score a $20 rebate on your on-line pizza order from Pizza Hut. Once you register for their CheckoutFree program and place an online order, they'll send you an email confirmationto claim your $20 cashback rebate. The catch to this is that you'll start getting offers from up to 100 of their vendor partners. To aviod getting all this email spam, check out the next freebie.

Anonymous e-mail. To avoid getting spam email when you fill out online forms or orders, try using whats called a temporary email account from guerrillamail.com. How is works is you're given an email address that is valid to receive messages for 15 minutes and send for 60 minutes, more than enough time to receive and reply to confirmation emails many sites send you when you register for their promotion. After that, no email account and no spam.

Protect your privacy. Speaking of staying anonymous, protect your privacy with a free program called TOR from torproject.org. What it does is ensures that there are no hidden cookies, programs or other tracking devices being used by some ISPs on your computer.
